| It was great to read today that there will be an outside consultant hired at $100/hour to review the Raucci mess but it is heartbreaking to think about all of the upcoming educational cuts in the next budget year. Will the community members be allowed the chance to make a donation towards the consultant costs or can we do a bake sale or something to minimize the impact of this expense on the education of Schenectady children. | |

A better idea would be, if there is any wrong-doing or cover-up found by the independent investigator in regards to the superintendent, Board President or Human resources Department, that they reimburse the district or voluntarily hand in their resignations.

| I hate to tell you there are not enough cookies to sell to pay the $1500 a day that the math consultant from ST Rose gets-- with no major end result to testing scores. Why not take that and put it toward programs, held at schools, to help teens cope. Sadly with the suicide rate at SHS there must be a way. Keep our kids in school- did you know that middle schools in the last 10 days of the year, have only 1/2 days for 7/8 graders and that the children in the greatest need, those in special education, are told not to come at all. How can this be? They need the help the most and because the teachers do not want "behavior" issues, they are on the streets and home with nothing to do. | |

I was talking about hte consultant hired to review the Raucci situation but agree with Howe Dad, hopefully if there are any findings of wrongdoing, the appropriate staff members will reimburse for the costs of the investigation.
