A: The district administration has done some research on this idea but we have not explored it thoroughly because of our belief that our students need more time on task versus less. Further, as this four day work week is being experimented with around the country in education (mostly in rural settings) the only savings seems to be in transportation and building power usage. While this could result in some savings in our district, we do not believe at this time it is worth the cost in student time on task.
