It was fantastic to see that the School Board is going to pay for an independent investigator to review what has happened over the years in the Facilities Department. What is the cost going to be and what part of the budget will this come out of? If there are findings of misconduct from anyone else besides Raucci, will those staff members reimburse the district for the costs of the investigation?
Could the parents work together to volunteer to do a carwash or bake sale for the investigator costs so our students do not have to pay the price with less educational funding dollars?
When the discussion board was narrowed down to budget issues it was frustrating at first but I want to thank admin for focusing us on the budget because in the end, almost any topic within the school district relates to the dollars spend on education and how are students are affected.
