Yeah we can leave the publicity up to the local papers. I guess as a parent, I should not be concerned at all when a school is locked down early in the morning, when six kids are arrested and when it looks like things could get worse instead of better.
Last week on Friday, there was a fight after school on the corner of Parkwood Boulevard and Rugby, Two days before that, a guy in a truck got out and was harrassing a group of students in the same area, which is perceived to be a safer neighborhood. How will the school keep our kids safe not only in school but walking home or getting bussed home afterwards? When will a greater investment be made into the lives of young kids who are at-risk, confused or feeling hopeless?
