Dear Schenectady Administration,
Here is another email that will never receive a response.
With the recent allegations that the recent teen death was related to bullying, it seems like it is even more important than ever to try to have smaller learning communities where students can develop relationships with high school teachers and staff members. Are the business classes, the core of Global Commerce, still at risk for being cut? If yes, what kind of effects will this have on the high school students who desperately need to have smaller learning communities where they can feel some kind of connection with the school community?
Are the paras at the high school level safe from cuts due to the need to have as much support for the students as possible?
What kind of support are the teachers receiving right now for the extra support they are providing to students everyday?
Is there any plans to at least consider developing one more smaller learning environment like the career center as an option for high school students?
