Hello,

I thought I was asking an appropriate question for the board when I wondered why it took three student deaths for the parents of the high school students to be notified about the recent suicides and if a fight made the local paper and students were arrested, what steps is the district taking to try to keep things calmer. My kids were not in the fight but they were in class that morning and the education of all of the high school students was disrupted.

Is this still a discussion board with school staff included or has the format changed? Are the topics not serious enough to warrant a district response? Or does the school staff decide what parents they want to respond to?
